About Nicolette Janssen:

Nicolette attributes her unique style to her upbringing in Europe, traveling the world to exotic places such as India, Nepal, Africa, Morocco, Maldives, and Tahiti, Hawaii, all over Europe and the United States and to receiving her education in both Amsterdam and Los Angeles.

She was born and raised in Amsterdam, Holland and came to Los Angeles to study at UCLA film school, where she graduated in 1994.She has also studied photography for 4 years at Santa Monica College, one of the top ten schools in the country for photography.

She has called Los Angeles her home since 1991.

Her passion is photographing people. When she works with a couple or a family she strives to capture their true personality and relationship with each other. To Nicolette weddings are a feast, since she is able to photograph so many emotions and tell a romantic love story with her images. Her custom Story Book Wedding Albums are truly unique and moving.

Nicolette has worked and became friends with Joe Buissink, the wedding photographer to the stars, a Dutch Native as well.

She has also studied and worked with celebrity photographer Jerry Avenaim.

Nicolette also does commercial work; she recently worked with Bill Fichtner (From Prison Break) and Kim Coates for Celebrity Car Magazine.

Currently she is a member of WPPI, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and NAPP, The National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
